On the other hand, when humidity become a deadly problem the best solution is a dehumidifier as it will remove excess humidity from air and oftentimes is stored in a container somewhere. The impracticality lies as the containers will have to be emptied occasionally. This will be a good eye opener for you to realize the amount of water that is emptied from these dehumidifiers. As a result of excess humidity with over period of time the rooms / spaces are likely to feel stuffy and would even smell musty. Too much humidity is known to lead to other concerns such as disruptions in structural integrity, pest problems etc. Hence as a first step to this problem start with an exhaust fan.
